M4 reflection 

 

It was the last project I made in this Semester, which called the Frame vs Field. In this assessment, there was a Hidden City named Olinda that was a very tiny point at first, and then grew more and more bigger, finally it became a whole early city. At first, I struggled with the requirements for a long time that I was not really understanding what kind of work I should submit in the end, like the city’s appearance. So that I also spent a lot of time to think about how to illustrate a story from a small point to a completed city in two perspectives.  Through this experience, I found my digital technique has improved a lot that I can operate these softwares more skillfully, like the Rhino, the Photoshop, and the Illustrator. Although I still cannot comprehend the meaning of the weight, gaze, and the threshold very correctly, so I may put some of them in a wrong place.
